He is an accomplished researcher doing work on PK/PD modeling while also acting as professor at Western University of Health Sciences. He is a valuable mentor and a great leader. I was born and raised in San Francisco. My family immigrated from Hong Kong in the 1960's. While I have travelled to over 20 countries, China is not one of them yet. I would also like to expand my Mandarin vocabulary, which currently consists of two phrases: “不知道。”("I don't know.") and “没有钱。” ("I don't have any money".) I am extremely proud to work with a great group of students to start the CAHSA organization here at WesternU. CAHSA President My name is Wilsion Jian. I am a second year PharmD student and currently the president of CAHSA. Besides promoting cultural awareness and planning club activities, one of my main passions is to help fellow students to learn Chinese terminology. Being able to impress your patients and friends will always be fun! CAHSA Social Chair My name is Chloe Chng. I am a first year pharmacy student and I am currently the Social Chair of CAHSA. My main duties include planning and organizing social and networking events like badminton social events and membership appreciation. I also assist in any health fairs, gram sales, or fundraising event of the club. CAHSA Treasurer My name is Tammy Lee. I am a first year pharmacy student and currently the Treasurer of CAHSA. My duties are organizing fundraising events, managing the account for the organization, and overlooking all expenses and deposits from the organization. From doing so, not only we are able to raise fund for the organization to hold activities both on and off campus, but also expand CAHSA to provide patient care as well as promote Chinese culture. CAHSA Secretary My name is
Yan (LeeAnne) Leung and I’m currently the secretary of CAHSA. My duties include taking
notes for our meetings and emailing the campus about our events. My goal is to
expand our presence and services as health care providers in the Asian
community. I also hope to bring more awareness of our club to other disciplines. Anderson Ho, PharmD c/o 2020CAHSA Historian My name is Anderson Ho. I am a first year PharmD student and I am the historian for CAHSA. My
main role includes photographing our club events, creating flyers for our club
activities, maintaining the club webpage, and spreading the word about our club
events on our Facebook page. One of my goals for CAHSA is to further expand our
club and to continue providing great patient care. |
